Bienville Parish School Board would like to congratulate Rhonda Whitfield, School Food Service employee at Ringgold High School, for being recognized as a finalist for the 2025 Outstanding School Support Employee Of The Year.
The Louisiana Department of Education stated that this award "recognizes and celebrates some of the state’s most exceptional support staff who have rendered time and talent beyond the call of duty. These staff members may include clerical or custodial personnel, food service workers, maintenance staff, paraprofessionals, school bus drivers, teacher aides, or any other employee who is not required to hold a teacher's certificate as a condition of employment."
All finalists will be recognized at the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education meeting on June 3, 2025. The overall honoree will be announced at a reception held at the Old State Capital after the meeting.
