Destruction of Confidential Records

The Bienville Parish Special Education Department is in the process of updating Special Education files. Records of those former students who have not been served by the Department in the last five (5) years will be destroyed.

If your child’s Special Education records meet the above criteria, you are offered the opportunity to acquire these records. Please contact the Special Education Department by July 23, 2026. These records are available from the Office of Special Services, 2019 Locust Street, Arcadia, LA 71001, (318) 263-7968. Identification is required. Records which are not requested by July 23, 2026 will be destroyed.
