Superintendent’s Message

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am so excited to begin another school year and I can’t wait to see all of our students, staff members, and families. It remains an honor and privilege to serve as superintendent.

The past few years have been very challenging for all of us and I am so appreciative for the flexibility, understanding, and patience of our parents and guardians. Our faculties and staff members performed above and beyond their normal duties to support our students and I am eternally grateful. Our students have persevered and we are eager to provide them a sense of normalcy for this upcoming school year.

Despite the challenges we faced, we saw a lot of academic growth and I am anticipating even more this school year. All of our faculties and staffs have been planning and preparing all summer and eagerly awaiting the return of our students. Our dedicated teachers will continue to provide our students with high quality instruction to meet the needs of each and every student. Students will be provided with the necessary tools to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world and develop the skills to become productive members of our society.

Our hard working and dependable custodial staffs have spent the entire summer thoroughly cleaning, repairing, and sanitizing all of our facilities. We have made structural and cosmetic improvements at all of our school campuses and the renovations at the Arcadia School Complex are almost complete.

Our number one priority will continue to be the safety and health of our students and employees and we will continue to implement best practices to ensure everyone’s safety.

Strong family engagement has always been a critical part of student success and we look forward to partnering with you during this school year. We can’t do it without you and I encourage you to become active in your child’s education.

We have an exciting year ahead of us! My prayer is that each of you will have a great year filled with fun and learning. Please contact your school’s principal if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s education. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all of our students!

Thank you for allowing your children to attend schools in Bienville Parish. Have a great 2022-2023 school year!
